Drill Nite Drive-Thru Training Combos
- Incident Command for Auto Extrication - Submitted by Eric Taylor, Lady's Island-St. Helena FD; This course is an introduction to the basics of managing an auto extrication emergency scene, can offer some helpful hints and is intended to supplement other courses the participant has taken on the subject. The basic premise of this short course is intended to focus on the managing of resources available, basic on scene command presence, and initial on scene units. Grain Bin Safety (17:25)—This YouTube video explains why grain engulfment occurs, how it happens, and how to prevent it. Other hazards such as the potential for the presence of hazardous fumes also are discussed. This information may be used to support learning about grain engulfment at the awareness level. This video does not demonstrate procedures for performing a grain bin rescue (Oklahoma Cooperative Extension Service, September 2011, 0612).
